The Specialist Cheesemakers Association (SCA) is an alliance of cheesemakers, retailers, wholesalers and cheese lovers that offers an opportunity to share ideas and increase sales of British cheese. With all the pitfalls, rules and regulations facing the industry today it is no longer possible to operate in isolation, and the SCA can communicate on members behalf with a strong, confident voice.

As well as providing a common voice to Government and media, our objectives are to encourage excellence in cheesemaking, raise the profile of traditional British cheeses, and to provide a forum for members to exchange ideas. The SCA provides help with any quality or hygiene problems and advice on food safety management.
